What is REACH Week?​

REACH is an acronym for:
  • Renew my commitment to the Gospel.
  • Emphasize the power of the Gospel.
  • Act on my belief in the Gospel.
  • Care for people who need the Gospel.
  • Help ministries, using my career skills to advance the Gospel.
​REACH Week combines our former GO Week with our former Summer Ministry Conference to emphasize student engagement with ministries of any type. Focused chapel messages will develop the theme for the week - Investing for Eternity - Matthew 25:14-30. Testimonies from the BJU community and stories from the mission field will remind us of the power of the Gospel. Each academic division will host a workshop applying the skills you're learning to practical ministry. Also, we're inviting dozens of ministry organizations: mission boards, summer camps, local churches, and other non-profits, to come share their ministry opportunities with you!

REACH Week Schedule:

Monday:
8 AM - Ministry organizations arriving throughout the day
11 AM - REACH Week opening chapel
3 PM - Prayer Hour in the CGO hosted by Missions Advance

Tuesday:
8 AM - Ministry displays open until 7 PM
11 AM - Discipleship Group with Ministry Rep Prayer Partner
3 PM - Prayer Hour in the CGO hosted by Missions Advance
5 PM - Camp Food Dinner at the Dining Common
7 PM - Short-term ministry fair at the Activity Center during Society soccer games

Wednesday:
8 AM - Ministry displays open until 7 PM
9 AM - Session 1
11 AM - Session 2: Your Major Your Ministry
2:30 PM - Session 3: Conversion Testimonies (The Power of the Gospel)
3:30 PM - Community Outreach Fair
5 PM - International Dinner at the Dining Common
9 PM - Praise Stories and Worship hosted by Missions Advance and ISCEC

Thursday:
8 AM - Prayer Rally
9 AM - Ministry Displays open until 2 PM
11 AM - REACH Week closing chapel
2 PM - Ministry Displays close
7 PM - BJU Mission Teams/Study Abroad Meetings
