CGO Blog Submissions

We are excited that you are interested in writing for the CGO! Our blog is an extension of Bob Jones University. The Center for Global Opportunities exists to promote a vision for and participation in 21st century Gospel expansion. While our blog covers many topics, most articles focus on missions, evangelism, and outreach.
We are always looking for people with the same Great Commission mindset and first-hand gospel experience to write for the CGO blog. Please read through our Writing Guide before filling out the submission form below. Please also read over the BJU Creed and mission, as well as the University Position Statements to ensure that the CGO blog is the right fit for you. 

Writing Guide: 

The Center for Global Opportunities is BJU's hub for gospel expansion in Greenville and around the world. The Center for Global Opportunities exists to promote a vision for and participation in 21st century Gospel expansion, and our blog is one opportunity to inspire and equip students and alumni. Below are a few guidelines to aid your writing:

How should I write?
  • The article should be between 800-1600 words.
  • Write for a general audience, but be conversational and engaging.
  • Feel free to address the reader in your article.
  • Well-written, but less formal than an academic paper.
  • Please proof-read your article! 
  • All Submissions should be in Microsoft Word Format. 

What should I write?
  • Your article should relate to one of the topics on the form in some way. 
  • The goal is to get the reader thinking. This is not an academic journal or an open letter. The average reader is just entering into the field of evangelism and outreach, so keep your article attainable and simple.
  • If we intend to post your article, we may reach out during the editing phase.
